My Story
My mom and I used to tour homes after church just for fun. I never forgot what it felt like to walk through a door and imagine a different life.
I had to face the truth: I could no longer align with the sales practices at the bank where I’d spent fifteen years of my life. I was sitting in my office, surrounded by paperwork and the hum of fluorescent lights, and I thought, “There has to be a better way to help people.”
I’d always loved houses. Growing up, my mom and I would tour new homes for fun after church, imagining the lives that could unfold inside them. My dad was a general contractor, so homeownership was a big deal in our family.
After high school, I tried construction, joining the carpenters’ union at my dad’s urging, but after one job, I knew it wasn’t for me. I got married young, at twenty, and soon found myself in retail banking, working my way up from teller to supporting eleven offices in the Bay Area. My goal then was stability for my family. I wanted to provide for my husband, Jason, and our kids—Kaitlin, Zane, and Reagan—without missing out on weekends or the little moments that make life sweet.
But banking came with its own set of challenges. The commute was brutal, and the culture no longer suited me. As my career transitioned into compliance, customer service, and mortgage origination, I faced the fact that my values no longer aligned with those of the bank. It was a turning point. I walked away, determined to find something more fulfilling and meaningful.
Getting into real estate wasn’t easy. I couldn’t stay at the bank while getting my license, so I hustled—delivering pizzas, catering, driving a bus for special-needs children, and doing secretarial work for a church. It took two years of grinding before I could finally focus on real estate full-time.
I realized my banking experience turned out to be highly valuable as a REALTOR®. I was used to sitting across from clients in crisis; people who were at their lowest points, dealing with financial hardship or personal tragedy.
In those moments, I learned to set aside my own discomfort and focus on being a calm, supportive problem-solver. Practical help mattered more than anything I could say to make them feel better. I came to value my ability to support people during some of their hardest moments.
Fast forward to today: my strength continues to be handling difficult transactions during challenging life events. It’s my superpower.
Outside of work, I decompress by roller skating, dancing, and watching old movies—anything from the thirties to the fifties. Old films remind me of my mom. During a difficult period in my teenage years, my mom and I lived in a motor home together. We would go to the video store and watch old movies. Those films still bring back memories of comfort and love.
My favorite hobbies include anything I can do with my children, who are 29, 19, and 13, respectively. That often looks like hiking, going to the park with our dogs, or simply spending time together.
Looking back, every challenge and detour has shaped who I am as a REALTOR®. My journey has given me the empathy and determination to help others navigate their own hurdles. There’s always a way forward—as long as you keep moving, keep caring, and never give up.
I specialize in helping people through life’s toughest transitions—probate, divorce, and death—because I know what it’s like to face uncertainty and need someone in your corner. My goal is always to educate and prepare my clients while anticipating and navigating potential challenges along the way. I’m not the flashy agent doing rap parodies on social media; I’m the one who makes sure you understand every step, negotiates fiercely for your best outcome, and is there when things get hard.
Because of my background in training, I approach real estate like a teacher—I want my clients to fully understand the process and feel prepared for anything that might come up, so there are no stressful surprises. My strong network and reputation among other agents help my clients’ offers stand out. I also believe in using humor to build rapport and make the process feel less stressful. Ultimately, I’m committed to being a knowledgeable, reliable, and compassionate advocate for my clients from start to finish.
Sincerely,

Beth Logue
